In June 1997, Romanie began her career with Eastern
Financial Florida Credit Union in the Retail Operations Department.
She gained extensive knowledge of Credit Union back office functions
while holding various positions including Research Specialist,
Fraud Specialist, and Special Services Representative. Romanie
stayed in Retail Operations until 2001, when she was promoted
to Teller Supervisor at the busiest branch in Miami-Dade County,
Miami Springs. In 2002, Romanie was promoted to Operations Manager
for the Miami Springs Branch. She worked in that capacity until
2005, when she transferred to the Pembroke Pines Branch as Operations
Manager. In March 2006, Romanie was promoted to Branch Manager.
She remains in Pembroke Pines today, overseeing the sales, service,
and operations of the busiest branch in Broward County.
