Minority Development & Empowerment, Inc., MDEI, has been providing services and solutions in Broward
and Palm Beach Counties for the past ten years. Our organization
is by far the largest not–for–profit organization serving
the needs of the Caribbean Community. We serve on an average
close to 12,000 clients on a yearly and ongoing basis, most of
them coming from various cities throughout the county. We have
seen our client base develop over time based on needs and the
quality of our reputation. Minority Development & Empowerment, Inc., MDEI, prides itself in being
an organization that focuses its services on the needs of its
clients in a holistic manner, we provide services to the entire
family, or individual, and all of our clients receive such services
free of charge. MDEI is also certified by the Broward
County Commission and has received a stellar commendation for
having a clean fiscal audit five years in a row. We are by far
the agency of choice for our grantees which include the Broward
County Commission, the State of Florida, Department of Education,
the Department of Health, Community Foundation of Broward, the United Way of Broward County, the Colman Foundation, the Palm Beach County Commission, and the Children’s Services
Council of both Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
