Michael E. Carn
Michael E. Carn is the President and CEO of MetroBroward Economic Development Corporation, MetroBroward. MetroBroward is the only Certified Community Development Financial Institution, CDFI, in Broward County that is certified by the US Treasury Department. MetroBroward is tasked with providing technical assistance and small business loans to entrepreneurs within low-wealth communities. MetroBroward has over $1 million invested in small business loans. Michael served as the Chairman of MetroBroward’s Board of Directors prior to becoming President.
Michael is very involved with community building activities in Broward County, is an advocate for community causes, and volunteers in a number of leadership capacities.
