As part of the services provided by Minority Development & Empowerment, Inc. to pregnant women through the TOPWA Program, Targeted Outreach for Pregnant Women Act, we recently held a baby shower for some of our clients. Funded by the State of Florida Department of Health and the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation, South Florida Division, pregnant women from the Caribbean Community can safely receive all the help they need.
